Week 2 of DRIPPING with Smudgy Antics

Welcome back for week 2 of the fortnight challenge with Smudgy Antics!
For this challenge we want to see how you ladies and gents can incorporate DRIPPING into your projects.  The more creative and out of the box the better!  We want to see how far you can take this challenge.
The more imaginative, the better your chances of a win.

If you have no clue what to do, you may use any medium that drips (faux blood, water colors, paints, enamels, etc).  You can use an image that has dripping on it (a zombie with dripping blood, a monster with dripping saliva, etc).  You may even use punches or die-cuts with a dripping edge.  There are so many ways to apply dripping to your projects so there is no excuse NOT to play along with us.

Please refer to the left side bar for a reminder of the rules.   If your stamping is not evident, please explain where or how your stamped image was used in your project.

Pictured below is some inspiration from the remainder of the
Smeared Ink DT.

You may click on the individual pictures for a larger view and you can visit any of the designers' blogs by clicking on the names above the project pictures.

I highly suggest visiting the designers' blogs as you can learn tips and tricks on how each lady made her project.
Leaving a bit of love is always appreciated too.

The Prize:

A $5.00 gift voucher to Smeared Ink.

Remember, be sure read and follow the rules in the left sidebar and link your project to Inlinkz by Midnight PST on Saturday June 29th, 2013 to qualify for a prize then check back on Sunday evening (June 30th, 2013)
for the chosen winner.

If you are not of fan of digi images, perhaps you would like to put your winning gift voucher towards an 8.5" x 11" sheet of deeply etched, unmounted rubber instead?  Yep.  Smeared Ink's Rubber is BACK!  Check out the Smeared Ink Rubber Club for more information.

If you like our challenges, why not head over to the Smeared and Smudged Forum?  Smeared and Smudged offers several monthly challenges with prizes, monthly blog hops, monthly ATC swaps, Holiday Swaps, and the Monthly

Please refer to the left side bar for a reminder of the rules.  I will give you the short version here:  You MUST use a stamped image (real or digi), you must be or become a follower of Smudgy Antics to qualify for a prize, and although collage sheets can be used to enhance your projects, they do NOT count as a stamped imaged so be sure to incorporate stamping in some way.  If your stamping is not evident, please explain where or how your stamped image was used in your project.
You must also link back to Smudgy Antics.

Pictured below is some inspiration from the first half of the Smeared Ink DT.  We will post a challenge reminder next week with examples from
 the remainder of the team.

BEATING HEARTS: Make an ATC with Smudgy Antics

A fortnight has passed and it is time for another inky challenge with Smudgy Antics.
The design team challenges you to make an ATC.
Easy as can be, right?   For those that may not know, ATC stands for artist trading cards.  ATCs are 2.5" x 3.5" works of art that are intended for trade.  ATCs are kind of like personalized business cards as the front has the handmade art and the backside contains the artist's contact information.
You can search the net and find tons of information and examples of ATCs.

There is a bit of a twist with the challenge this fortnight.  The ATC you create MUST incorporate a stamped image (real or digi) and it must follow the theme of
"BEATING HEARTS".

You have two weeks to add your creation to Mr. Linky.
Also, if you would like to trade your ATC with another artist, please leave a comment stating such in the comment section of this post.
Trading is not required, but since that is the purpose of ATCs we thought we would give everyone the opportunity to trade.

With Valentine's Day being the 14th, I'm sure you guys and gals will find tons of inspiration with the "Beating Hearts" theme.  Even though the theme can be interpreted as romantic, it can have a dark side too.  Over here we like things edgy!  Cute is okay, but  Creepy, Risque, Vintage, Gothic, or Alternative projects are preferred and are much more likely to be chosen as a winner.

For added inspiration, have a look at the ATCs the DT gals have made to get your creative juices flowing.  Remember to follow the rules which are posted on the left sidebar and have fun with this challenge.  Don't be afraid to think outside of the box.  The more creative, the better, and only the best will win!

Smudgy Antics: Make a Project with a Pocket

Welcome back for another challenge with Smudgy Antics!

The challenge theme this fortnight is
"Make a Project with a Pocket".

We at Smudgy Antics challenge you to make a project with a pocket.  You can make a decorative envelope, a pocket card, or you can add a pocket to a canvas or a journal page.  If paper isn't your thing, feel free to go three dimensional and alter an object using a pocket or creating a pocket within the piece.  The more unique you can get, the better.  We love it when you guys and gals think outside the box!
Remember to use a stamped image (real or digi) and follow the rules posted in the left sidebar.
You will have 2 WEEKS to submit your projects to Mr. Linky.

For inspiration, check out the work from the Smeared Ink DT gals below.  Click on the images to enlarge and click on the designer's name to get to her blog.
