Weekly Challenge: Monster Mash

The Challenge Theme for Smudgy Antics is
"MONSTER MASH".
You can base your project after the song, you can create a scene with a mash of monsters, or you can do a mash-up of images to create your own monster.  The more creative, the better!  If it is not evident as to how your project pertains to the theme, please explain it in your post.  If you are at a total loss for inspiration...just use a monster and you should be fine.

THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN THE RULES.
There will be no more top 3 or random winner.
Our Design Team will vote for ONE winner and that person will receive both a blog button and prize. You do not have to use a Smeared Ink image to win.  We pick the best of the entries so bring your A-game!  Also, please remember there is no back-linking allowed and you must be a follower of Smudgy Antics to qualify for a prize.

*If you are a Blogger for the 31 Days, you may combine one of your daily projects with this Smudgy Antics Challenge.  Just be sure to read and follow the challenge rules posted on the left side bar and be sure to follow the 31 Days' rules as well.

*For those not playing along with the 31 Days of Halloween, it is business as usual here.  Be sure to read and follow the challenge rules posted on the left sidebar to qualify for both the prize and the coveted blog button.
Be creative and think outside of the box.

*Projects are not limited to cards.  We also accept and encourage mixed-media pieces, sculptures, art journal pages, etc.  Just be sure to use a stamped image somewhere in your project ("real" or "digi") and follow the challenge rules and you are golden :)

Weekly Challenge: Movie Madness

The Challenge Theme for Smudgy Antics this week is
"Movie Madness".

Art is inspired by many things.  We want to see what kind of inspiration you can get from a movie.  Being October, I would suggest a scary or creepy movie of some sort.  If you insist upon making a Tinkerbell project, which will surely result in projectile vomiting on my part, then feel free to do so.
*We do ask that you state the name of your movie of choice in case it is not evident to others looking at your project.

***If you are a Blogger for the 31 Days, you may combine one of your daily projects with this Smudgy Antics Challenge.  Just be sure to read and follow the challenge rules posted on the left side bar and be sure to follow the 31 Days' rules as well.

**For those not playing along with the 31 Days of Halloween, it is business as usual here.  Be sure to read and follow the challenge rules posted on the left sidebar to qualify for the random prize drawing and the coveted "Top Three" badge.

Weekly Challenge - Itsy Bitsy Spider

Welcome back for another week of challenges and a huge
congratulations to the prize winner and the chosen top two from last week's "Dragon Tales" challenge!

Are you ready for some more fun?
The theme for this week is:
"Itsy Bitsy Spider"

The Itsy Bitsy Spider is a nursery rhyme in the US.  I know every culture and country has their own nursery rhymes or tales told to the wee ones.
This week we want you to turn nursery rhymes
 into something scary or creepy.

The more twisted, the better!  Make the little hairs on the back of our necks stand on end.  Make a project that is nightmare worthy.  Please source the nursery rhyme you are using or better yet, write out the rhyme in your blog post for those that may not be familiar with nursery rhymes.
Most importantly, have fun!

Be sure to read and follow the challenge rules posted on the left side bar to qualify for the random prize drawing and the coveted "Top Three" badge.
