Saturday inspiration with new image...

It is my turn to get your mojo going...

I´ve made a mixed media art journal kind of page. Started of with some torned scrap paper with winter feel and added with mod podge. Second layer is white gesso. Used a NEW powerful image "release" made by Alexandria Serrano and you can find this image along with a whole bunch of other fantastic images in the Smeared Ink Shop. I´ve used posca pens, copics and acrylic paint to doodle with. I´ve also used some glimmer mist, stencils and background stamps.

Dancing with Death, Day 1 of the 31 days of Halloween and a NEW RELEASE!!!

There is so much going on this entire month so I will keep

this as brief as possible. First, being Monday, it is the start of a new challenge here on Smudgy Antics. Being October 1st, many of our fine followers will also be participating in the month long blog hop, The 31 Days of Halloween, hosted by Smeared and Smudged. To find out more about the 31 Days of Halloween, click here. Even non-participants can win prizes!

The Challenge Theme for Smudgy Antics is

"Dancing with Death".

***If you are a Blogger for the 31 Days, you may combine one of your daily projects with this Smudgy Antics Challenge. Just be sure to read and follow the challenge rules posted on the left side bar and be sure to follow the 31 Days' rules as well.

**For those not playing along with the 31 Days of Halloween, it is business as usual here. Be sure to read and follow the challenge rules posted on the left side bar to qualify for the random prize drawing and the coveted "Top Three" badge. Be creative and think outside of the box.

*Projects are not limited to cards. We also accept and encourage mixed-media pieces, sculptures, art journal pages, etc. Just be sure to use a stamped image somewhere in your project ("real" or "digi") and follow the challenge rules and you are golden :)

I hope all those who participated in SmudgeFest last week not only survived and had fun, but I hope you all saved some mojo for this week's challenge!

Yep, we are back to our regularly scheduled weekly challenges. These should be a breeze after a week of doing a project everyday!

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our Gallery Challenge day! We hope everyone had a fabulous weekend and Mother's Day, and that you are all well rested and ready to begin your week. You Are Sublime! Use any of our rubber or digi sets to create something that honors a woman in your life. It can be a friend, sister, mother, daughter, relative, or the lady who makes your special Starbucks drink every morning. Your project can be anything as long as it is stamped somewhere. Don't forget you can only use Smeared Ink stamps in this challenge, and your entry needs to be linked up by Friday at midnight. Smeared Ink New Release/End of Term Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to another wonderful day with the Smudgy Antics Blog! Today we are doing something a little different, we are having a hop. It is the end of the Design team term and some of our members will not be returning next term :(. Smeared Ink is also having a new release today!!! They are releasing 4 digi sets and 3 digi singles. *Every month a new Anything Goes challenge will be posted.

*To participate, you must make a NEW project that features at least 1 STAMPED or DIGI IMAGE... FROM SMEARED INK ,add it to the post using the Inlinkz linky. Any other supplies and images may be used. Your link MUST take us directly to your project on a PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE blog or website, or it will be disqualified - so please make sure you're linking to your actual post. It must be linked by midnight Pacific Time on the scheduled end date, which will be three days before the end of the month. You must use a new project; back-linking is NOT allowed.

*Your project can be anything (card, scrapbook page, mixed media, altered or 3-D item, etc) as long as it is handmade and stamped somewhere with at least 1 rubber or digital stamp....from SMEARED INK . *You can only enter the challenge and qualify for a prize if you are, or become, a follower of the Smudgy Antics blog. Also, you must mention Smudgy Antics in your blog post and provide a link to our blog. This helps others to find us so they may play along as well.

*Multiple projects are allowed as long as each project follows the rules. Each project must be linked individually into the Inlinkz linky tool and must link to it's own individual blog post in order to be considered as separate entries. (Multiple projects in one blog post will be considered as 1 entry).

*The winner will be chosen by RANDOM DRAW and will be revealed on the last day of the month. The winner will get BOTH the prize and a winner's blog button to display on their blog. A TOP 3 will be voted for by the DT and shall get a WINNERS BLOG BUTTON... Only the best projects will win TOP 3 so bring your A-game!
