Saturday's Smudgy Snippet

I've got an upside down page to share with you today, I was really pleased with how the page had turned out until I found out it was upside down compared to the rest of my journal!
Anyway to make this page I used to fabulous Killer Bo Peep rubber stamps which I coloured with spectrum noir pens.

Don't forget to keep your entries coming into this months challenge.

GOT THAT FRIDAY FEELING!

Yay it's Friday.... the weekend is nearly here.
Before I share with you today's project,
all of us at SMUDGY ANTIC'S/SMEARED INK
would like to CONGRATULATE
ELENOR
on the birth of her gorgeous son,
ALLAN.
I am 'covering' today for Elenor.... so you get a dose of dragon sarcasm,
being well acquainted with motherhood, having a grown up son and twin 9yr old daughters,
I made yet another card.
I used real rubber.... because SMEARED INK REAL RUBBER STAMPS
are probably the best on the market.... papers from my stash and a snarky 'good luck' sentiment...
why snarky? because I'd had a run in with one of my girls over what shoes are suitable for school...
3 1/2'' heel/platform boots are NOT part of the school uniform!
So there ya go.... snarky dragon strikes again.
You'll find this great  CARNIE stamp in the SMEARED INK SHOP....
can you be 'snarkier' than the dragon?
Why not enter something SNARKY in our challenge this month?
We don't even mind if you use 'bad' words on your project.... especially if you've just had a run-in with a child over what to wear for school!
Have a great Friday. BD x

Blue No More!

Good morning and welcome to today's Smudgy Antics DT inspiration.
The weekend is almost here and I do hope that you get some time to get crafty, inky, and creative!

If you happen to use Smeared Ink's unique stamps, we would love to see your project and get it entered into the Smudgy Antics Monthly January Anything Goes Challenge.

HERE to get your project in.
Not sure on the rules?
Check out the left side panel and find all the info you need.

My project for today uses one of the Smeared Ink Rubber Club Past Offering sets:  Danse Macabre and a bit of Jack.

I do not know about you, but for some reason the check book covers for my checks are all blue.  When reaching into my bag to dig one out I always grab the wrong one.  Well...NO MORE!  Here is my new check book cover:

Please see my Crafty Inknik blog to find out more on the details on today's project.
Thank you for visiting and you have yourself a gore-licious-ly filled day!

WEDNESDAY'S INSPIRATION

Good morning SMUDGY friends,
finally i'm nearly back to my kind of normal...
girls back to school today so I won't have to create so late at night.... although knowing me i'll still burn the candle at both end!
Today I have simple altered note books to share with you.
You can buy these packs of coverless mini note pads from any of our pound stores,
add a unique cover then they become a cheap but very nice gift.
I made a set of 5, using LOST DREAMS real rubber stamps.
The stamps have a wonderful grungy feel to them so I had great fun colouring the backgrounds using purple, lime green and cyan pencils then just blending all together. Black ink around the edges, and a wipe clean clear plastic film over the top.... great little note books for your handbag...purse... for my American friends.
Well we've had one week of this months  ANYTHING GOES challenge .... don't forget you can enter more than once and we truly love the projects that other challenge blogs remove.... just make sure you use a SMEARED INK digi or real rubber stamp somewhere.
Have a happy Smudgy day. BDx

POE...

Hi,

It is my turn too inspire you guys with some Smeared Ink...

I´ve made a canvas...started of with a BIG canvas that I painted so many times I can´t even remember how many...I was never satisfied with it...lucky for me I think it looks so much cooler with many layers..gives it structure and depth..
One of the layers is burlap..and lots of lots of paint..also used tissue that I stamped on and added with decoupage. around the edges there is a heavy layer of structure paste. I was not satisfied with the big canvas so I took my scissor and cut out the parts that I wanted and added the bits to a smaller canvas.

The big poe piece is digital paper from Smeared Ink called "Poe Boy Digital Paper Pack" and I printed it out on regular printer paper and added it to canvas with modpodge.
All the other poe rubber stamps is from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club and I stamped them on white tissue and added them with decoupage.
Around the edges there is tissue too but grey and I´ve used a rubber stamp from the "urban decay" set, also from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club.

I hope you don´t forget to take part in our monthly challenge...anything goes Smeared Ink :) Just add your project in the mr linky widget.

Thank you so much for taking a peek at my project today..hugs lisa.
