BEATING HEARTS: Make an ATC with Smudgy Antics

A fortnight has passed and it is time for another inky challenge with Smudgy Antics.
The design team challenges you to make an ATC.
Easy as can be, right?   For those that may not know, ATC stands for artist trading cards.  ATCs are 2.5" x 3.5" works of art that are intended for trade.  ATCs are kind of like personalized business cards as the front has the handmade art and the backside contains the artist's contact information.
You can search the net and find tons of information and examples of ATCs.

There is a bit of a twist with the challenge this fortnight.  The ATC you create MUST incorporate a stamped image (real or digi) and it must follow the theme of
"BEATING HEARTS".

You have two weeks to add your creation to Mr. Linky.
Also, if you would like to trade your ATC with another artist, please leave a comment stating such in the comment section of this post.
Trading is not required, but since that is the purpose of ATCs we thought we would give everyone the opportunity to trade.

With Valentine's Day being the 14th, I'm sure you guys and gals will find tons of inspiration with the "Beating Hearts" theme.  Even though the theme can be interpreted as romantic, it can have a dark side too.  Over here we like things edgy!  Cute is okay, but  Creepy, Risque, Vintage, Gothic, or Alternative projects are preferred and are much more likely to be chosen as a winner.

For added inspiration, have a look at the ATCs the DT gals have made to get your creative juices flowing.  Remember to follow the rules which are posted on the left sidebar and have fun with this challenge.  Don't be afraid to think outside of the box.  The more creative, the better, and only the best will win!

Click on the images below to enlarge and click on the designer's name to visit her blog if you wish to read the details on her project or leave some love.

A $5.00 gift voucher to Smeared Ink.

Remember, be sure read and follow the rules in the left sidebar and link your project to Inlinkz by Midnight PST on Saturday February 23rd, 2013 to qualify for a prize then check back on Sunday evening (Feb 24th) for the chosen winner.

If you are not of fan of digi images, perhaps you would like to put your winning gift voucher towards an 8.5" x 11" sheet of deeply etched, unmounted rubber instead?  Yep.  Smeared Ink's Rubber is BACK!  Check out the Smeared Ink Rubber Club for more information.

If you like our challenges, why not head over to the Smeared and Smudged Forum?  Smeared and Smudged offers several monthly challenges with prizes, monthly blog hops, monthly ATC swaps, and we are currently having a three day Bloody Valentine Blog Hop starting today.  If you want to hop and get some bloody good inspiration, click here to start the hop.  FYI, the hop goes live each day, Feb 11th-13th, at 9am PST.

Have Fun!
