Welcome back for another fortnight challenge with Smudgy Antics!
The theme for this challenge is
We have all been there...crying our eyes out because somebody we loved broke our hearts. If you haven't had a broken heart, I'm sure you helped one of your best friends mend their broken heart or watched your children get their hearts broken. This fortnight we want you ladies and gents to create a project depicting a broken heart or being broken hearted.
Get creative and don't be afraid to think outside of the box. We embrace all forms of stamped art and love seeing original and diverse projects. You may enter cards, scrapbook pages, tags, atcs, altered objects, mixed-media projects, etc. The more creative you get, the more likely you are to be the chosen winner of the challenge.
Posted below is some inspiration from the first part of the Smeared Ink DT.
You may click on the individual pictures for a larger view and you can visit any of the designers by clicking on the names above the project pictures.
We will post a challenge reminder next week with examples from
the remainder of the Smeared Ink DT.
I highly suggest visiting the designers' blogs as you can learn tips and tricks on how each lady made her project.
Leaving a bit of love is always appreciated too.
Remember, be sure read and follow the rules in the left sidebar and link your project to Inlinkz by Midnight PST on Saturday October 5th, 2013 to qualify for a prize then check back on Sunday evening (October 6th, 2013)
for the chosen winner.
If you are not of fan of digi images, perhaps you would like to put your winning gift voucher towards an 8.5" x 11" sheet of deeply etched, unmounted rubber instead? Yep. Smeared Ink's Rubber is BACK! Check out the Smeared Ink Rubber Club for more information. Please note, only one (1) gift voucher may be used to purchase rubber stamps.
