Bunny Blue and Kitty Too!

Howzit Everyone!
For today's DT inspiration I'm sharing two projects!
First up here's an Easter Bunny altered domino magnet featuring Smeared Ink's Li'l Bunny Grumpie from the Occasions Li'l Grumpie rubber stamp set.  I just love this li'l Bunny to death!

Looks like Bunny Blue found himself a friend!
Any guesses on what I used to colour the domino?  Dying to find out?
Then stop by my DominoART blog tomorrow for an egg-citing reveal ;0)

"How PURRfectly wonderflandful to see you" she purred mischievously!
I also want to share the wind-chime I made for our March Smeared and Smudged Member "Alice in Wonderland - MADNESS" Blog Hop!  As a huge Alice fan I had a blast creating this Cheshire Kitty diorama featuring Smeared Ink's Cheshire Cat and the mushroom from the Alice digi.
Pop on over to my other blog, LeighSBDesigns, for all the info, photos and a little video clip!

I hope I've inspired you to get creative and there's still time to enter our current
Smudgy Antics Challenge so come join the fun!

Happy Stamping!

Inner Demon Inspiration...

Hi,

Some inspiration from me  this Saturday and I hope that those of you that are watching this is doing fine and got the creepmas black feel going this season :)

Made an mixed media kind of page...don´t know what to call this? Maybe someone else knows!? There are so many different names on these things...

I´ve used a new digi stamp from Smeared Ink made by very talented Alexandria Serrano "Inner Demon". colored it with copics. The black hands behind the image is a grumpy from the rubber club at Smeared Ink. The barbed wire is rubber from the rubber club as well called "urban decay" and the senti is from the rubber club too :D from the "as death" set. The background is a scrapbookpaper and I covered the page with mod podge.

I hope you like it..

Thanks!

Grumpie Get Well

For today's card, I used a Grumpie from the Lil Love Grumpies digi set to send a Get Well greeting to a grumpie from the Lil Grumpies Occasions set. The front panel was printed wallet size on gray cardstock, colored with colored pencils, cut and mounted to fluorescent yellow cardstock, torn to deckle edge and mounted on black cardstock.
The middle panel was stamped on yellow, blue, and orange cardstock with Palette Hybrid ink in noir black. The blue was cut out and mounted, then the orange fish was cut out and mounted on that. Highlights were added with colored pencil and the base was torn to a deckle edge, then mounted on the black cardstock. The black cardstock is 5" by 11" and folded trifold. The third panel has a yellow block and says "Get Well Soon". Enjoy!

April Member Blog Hop and My no stress DT Debut!

I am so absolutely excited to be part of the new design team at Smeared Ink! When we received our assignments to post to the DT blog here, I thought, "That's Fabulous! Thursdays tend to be my crafty days :)!" Then I realized my very first DT member post was going to occur on April Member Blog Hop day AND I couldn't remember what project I had in mind when I signed up for it. But hey! That's how I operate most of the time and so...knowing this project is NOTHING like I first had in mind, here ya go!
The challenge was to use a stamped image somewhere and to use METAL. I decided to add another layer of difficulty and celebrate Earth Day by trying to reuse, repurpose, and recycle as much as I absolutely could in my project. You can find out more about the hows and why at my blog post at http://www.whatspeaks2myheart.wordpress.com/ because I don't want to load you down with details here when you have a BLOG HOP to check out! The METAL in my project is window screening shaped into a basket (and I have the holey fingers to prove it--two words of advice USE GLOVES!) and the handle is plastic coated twisty tie from toy packaging. The image and sentiment I used are from the Lil Grumpies Occasions found here http://www.smearedink.com/ .

And IF you are starting here, be sure to check out the entire blog roll for awesome METAL projects!

Thanks for having a look and I hope you enjoy!
