Thursday's inspiration: Grandmaster Daily Planner

YAY, I'm back and thrilled to have re-joined our fabulous Smeared Ink design team!
Here's my first 2015 project to inspire you for our February challenge which as usual is always Anything Goes and the darker the better!

Most of you all know me, but if you don't, I LOVE game related imagery so
I just HAD to use Smeared Ink's new digis called Grandmaster by Teri Sherman to alter the cover of my 2015 daily planner.

 Grandmaster Daily Planner
Ready to keep track of all my dark and twisty events this year!

The spread!
The details!
Please stop by my blog, LeighSBDesigns, for more info and photos on today's project!
I hope I've inspired you to come and play in our monthly challenges ;0)
You can link up your project using a Smeared Ink real rubber or digi image HERE!

Also, you're going to want to check out our upcoming annual Bloody Valentine Blog Hop on Feb 11, 12 and 13!  It's always a wicked cool event with lots of amazing eye candy and you can read all about it here at More Smeared Ink!  Sign up deadline is Feb 9 so don't miss it!

Happy Stamping!

Week 2 of ALTER A BOX with Smudgy Antics

Welcome back for another fortnight challenge with Smudgy Antics!
For this challenge we want to see more than just paper and glue.
We want to see dimension and lots of it.
The Smudgy Antics team wants to see you guys and gals
ALTER a BOX.
This is the last week of this challenge.

You may use any type of box.  The box can be big or small, cardboard or wood, or even plastic.  The shape can be creative as well.  Do you have any leftover heart shaped boxes from Valentine's Day?  If so, you may be a hoarder, but you will have a cool box to work with!

Of course we must address the fine print.  Although the focus of the challenge is to alter a box, you must still use a stamped image (real or digi) and you must follow the rules posted on the left sidebar of the challenge blog to be in the running for a prize.  Collage sheets may be used to enhance your project, but they do NOT count as a stamped image so make sure you use a stamp of some sort in your final piece.

Here is some inspiration from the second half of the Smeared Ink DT.
You may click on the individual pictures for a larger view and you can visit any of the designers by clicking on the names above the project pictures.

The Prize:

A $5.00 gift voucher to Smeared Ink.

Remember, be sure read and follow the rules in the left sidebar and link your project to Inlinkz by Midnight PST on Saturday May 18th, 2013 to qualify for a prize then check back on Sunday evening (May 19th)
for the chosen winner.
Click here to find Mr. Linky.

If you are not of fan of digi images, perhaps you would like to put your winning gift voucher towards an 8.5" x 11" sheet of deeply etched, unmounted rubber instead?  Yep.  Smeared Ink's Rubber is BACK!  Check out the Smeared Ink Rubber Club for more information.

If you like our challenges, why not head over to the Smeared and Smudged Forum?  Smeared and Smudged offers several monthly challenges with prizes, monthly blog hops, monthly ATC swaps, Holiday Swaps, and a new Monthly DT Throwdown Challenge.  Also, the sign-ups have already started for the
Skull Appreciation Day Blog Hop which is June 4th.  It is one of the biggest and best blog hops of the year!

Have Fun!

We will post a challenge reminder next week with examples from
the other half of the team.

Now for the sad news.

SMEARED INK will be retiring 6 of their digital stamp sets as well as the singles that go with them.  Come May 20th, these digi images will be gone from the shop forever so if you'd like them you had better buy them before MAY 20th.  If you do buy them, you will save 15% off the retail cost.
Don't be too sad though.
Although you will not be able to get these images in digi form any longer after the 20th of May, you will still be able to get your hands on these totally wonderful sets in real RUBBER!  An 8.5" x 11" sheet of unmounted, deeply etched, red rubber for your stamping pleasure!
Check out the details of the SMEARED INK RUBBER CLUB.

Weekly Challenge: ALTER SOMETHING

Welcome back for another challenge with Smudgy Antics!

The challenge theme this week is
ALTER SOMETHING.

Using at least one stamped image (real or digi) and following the rules posted on the left sidebar, we at Smudgy Antics challenge you to alter an item.
No cards will be allowed for this challenge.
Get creative and get crafting.  See how much fun it can be to turn found objects into new works of art.  Being the holiday season, perhaps you can alter an item and turn it into a gift for a loved one or make some holiday decor?
The more creative, the better.  We love it when you guys and gals think outside the box.  For those in the Smeared and Smudged Creepmas blog hop, you may combine your challenge project with your hop project as long as you meet the criteria for both.  For inspiration, check out the work from the Smeared Ink DT gals below.  Click on the images to enlarge and click on the designer's name to get to her blog to read further details about the project she has made.
